CosmoCom is seeking to hire an experienced Development Project Manager for its R&D organization. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading development projects for complex contact center platforms for service providers and major enterprises. The candidate will act as the primary interface between CosmoCom’s development & QA team and to Field engineering and the customer’s implementation team, off shore groups and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a hands-on developer, as well as technical project management experience. Ideally the candidate will be based in CosmoCom’s Headquarters on Long Island, NY.  

Reports to Vice President, R&D

Position Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Master degree is preferred.
• Experience in managing R&D teams and product development project. Profound understanding of development methodologies and product life cycle.
• Strong technical experience in one or more of the following technologies:
  • C++/STL
  • VoIP – SIP, H.323. IMS, RTP
  • MS SQL 2005 and MS reporting services
  • Call center and Telecom technologies
  • .NET 2.0 framework
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies (XP SCRUM)
